We brew the joy of true togetherness, not only through great beer, but through social impact. Here's how our team in Amsterdam is bringing Worlds Together with HEINEKEN's social impact initiative.   Partnering with Serve the City Amsterdam, Social Gastronomy Movement and A Beautiful Mess, we organised various activities in Amsterdam, where we're head quartered, to bring people and communities together.   This year we are rolling out the "Worlds Together" social impact movement in 16 countries. Our Net Zero Carbon Strategy Director Nicolas Clerget and Carbon Policy Lead Hannah Hunt are on the ground at Climate Week NYC. They proudly represented HEINEKEN at the #RE100 Members Forum, discussing some of the collaborations that could help us achieve 100% renewable electricity across our breweries! #ClimateWeekNYC is the perfect platform to share and learn about future sustainable brewing practices 💚🌱

Each of our nearly 200 sites require unique solutions to reduce emissions, that means decarbonising our breweries is always a team effort. Today we’re expanding that team to include new partners: Arcadis, NIRAS, and Royal HaskoningDHV. These partners will bring specialised technical expertise and help drive progress towards HEINEKEN’s global ambition to reach net zero in scope 1 and 2 by 2030. Here’s how we’re making it happen:   ⚙ Collaborating with industry leaders to co-create innovative, tailored decarbonisation strategies for our breweries.   🌍 Rolling out energy solutions projects at over 40 sites starting in 2024, focusing on reducing on-site energy consumption and emissions. 🔋 Accelerating the transition to renewable energy sources across our global operations, aiming to transform our energy mix and drive down overall energy demand long-term.   By collaborating closely with all our partners (Siemens, NIRAS, Royal HaskoningDHV & Arcadis), we are moving toward our Net Zero Ambitions. Collaboration is key as we scale up production, skills, technology and efficiency in our OpCos in 70 different countries. Let’s #BrewaBetterWorld together! 🍻

This unique collaboration aims to uncover groundbreaking solutions for real-world challenges. This week, in sunny Petaluma, California, our amazing finalists pitched their cutting-edge HR tech ideas to a panel of expert judges. After some tough deliberation, four visionary teams emerged victorious, earning the chance to pilot their solutions within HEINEKEN. The Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix sets the bar for incredible fan experience. Our Heineken® 0.0 Global Ambassador Max Verstappen, while missing his 4th win at Zandvoort, delivered a thrilling fight for #1 with Lando Norris. Our The HEINEKEN Company Events teams from the Netherlands and Heineken Experience gave fans the show of a lifetime with world class hospitality in the Fan Zones, the Grand Stands, and the Paddock Club. It was Game On! for sim racers at Zandvoort as well with mobile gamers competing for the chance to race against Max Verstappen in the Player 0.0 championship. Player 0.0 is a collaboration between Heineken and F1 World Champion Max Verstappen to promote responsible consumption amongst gamers and beyond. Our latest ad “Forgotten Beers” launches today; on International Beer Day. Beer plays a special role in society, it connects people. This ad is an ode to those good times had together; so good that the beer may just get forgotten. Using International Beer Day, a day typically reserved for appreciating the beer itself, we've put a twist on it to highlight that sometimes the best thing about a beer isn’t the beer. Today we published our first half 2024 results. We continued to execute our EverGreen strategy and achieved solid growth with net revenue (beia) up 6% and operating profits (beia) up 12.5%.
