Heering has appointed Garage Le Blevennec as the authorized service dealer in France. Based in Brittany, Le Blevennec will offer a wide range of services for the Heering chick carriers to the French market. Garage Le Blevennec is a family business since 1973 and has many years of experience with the Heering chick carriers. Heering and Garage Le Blevennec are already working together for two years and the relationship has now been formalized into an official dealership. Recently we attended the Petersime Operational Excellence™ Days in Romania.   These days were organized to share information about achieving operational excellence at every operational level in the hatchery. Martijn Nissen, our poultry specialist, recently visited Gressingham Ducks, England’s largest duck hatchery. The purpose of this visit was to train the hatchery’s transport staff. During his visit, Martijn trained the Gressingham staff on the critical aspects of duck transportation to ensure that the quality of the ducks is preserved upon delivery to the customer. He provided detailed insights into the operation of Heering transportation units, highlighting key operational parameters, best practices for maintenance, cleaning, and the loading and unloading procedures. Furthermore, Martijn observed a complete transportation cycle, from the initiation and setup of the unit, the loading process, transit to the customer's location, unloading, and the subsequent procedures upon returning to the hatchery, including cleaning and disinfection. Based on his observations he made recommendations to the transport staff and the hatchery manager, pinpointing potential areas for further improvement.   Our aim is not just to provide a high-quality product, but also to ensure that the drivers/operators are equipped with the knowledge they need to deliver the birds safely and efficiently. Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming our customer, Zayas Sanz, to our facility in Vaassen for the collection of their newly acquired Heering | Chick Trucks & Trailers trailer. It is nice to mention that Zayas Sanz holds a special place in our history, as they were the pioneering customer to represent us in Spain. The company operates long-distance transportation services with the Heering trailers for prominant hatcheries such as Lohmann and H&N. The longest trips cover distances of about 1,600 kilometers. The reliability of a trailer is therefore of great importance to them. "The built-in backup guarantees maximum security during transport and we have the confidence that the day-old chicks will arrive at their destination in good condition," says Miguel Ángel Zayas sanz, owner of Zayas Sanz, about the Heering trailer.
