About HCM Medical HCM Medical, also known as Hightech Contract Manufacturing Medical, is a contract manufacturing organization that develops products and implements technologies. The purpose of the production is to develop unique and high-tech medical products for various medical applications which include cardiovascular, urological, dermatological, and orthopedic applications. At the same time, HCM Medical will put an emphasis on the need for tissue products required in tumor surgery, development and production of tumor vaccines and the development of drug-release products for local treatment by implantation. Gisteren de opening van HCM Medical van de nieuwe clean rooms samen met directeur Christian van Munster. Hier worden implantaten gemaakt die bijvoorbeeld het leven van hartpatiënten verbeteren, of herstellen van weefselbeschadigingen, ontstaan door trauma, infecties, of tumor-medische ingrepen. Bijvoorbeeld een nieuw weefsel als onderdeel van een nieuw gebit of verwijderd tumorweefsel uit bot. Het weefsel is biologisch en wordt opgenomen en weer onderdeel van het lichaam. It was our pleasure to host @ Mrs. Reenat Sandhu, Ambassador of India to The Kingdom of The Netherlands and Satya Pinisetty from Indian Embassy, at HCM Medical in Nijmegen. The honorable delegates were greeted by Henriette Valster and various topics on Pharma and Medical Device sectors were discussed from Indo-Dutch bi-lateral business collaboration perspective. The delegates were given a guided tour by Josephine Dodemont, Koen Dijkstra, Anne Janssen and Mona Al-Areeqi to the GMP facility of HCM Medical, where human and animal -derived tissues are processed using supercritical CO2 technology for cosmetic, dental, orthopedic and cardiovascular applications. Later, her excellency Mrs. Reenat Sandhu visited Noviotech Campus of Radboud and met few entrepreneurs with potential business expansion opportunities to India.

Wat hebben we in onze regio toch top bedrijven. Vandaag waren wij op bezoek bij HCM Medical gevestigd in Nijmegen. We werden warm ontvangen door directeur Christian van Munster. Een prachtig bedrijf die implantaten maakt, gebaseerd op biomaterialen die dicht bij het oorspronkelijke lichamelijk weefsel liggen. Door de biomaterialen te verwerken met behulp van verschillende technieken, zoals vriesdrogen, superkritische CO2 behandeling, en aseptische bewerking worden er zeer speciale implantaten gemaakt. Implantaten die bijvoorbeeld het leven van hartpatiënten verbeteren, of herstellen van weefselbeschadigingen, ontstaan door trauma, infecties, of tumor-medische ingrepen. Bijvoorbeeld een nieuw weefsel als onderdeel van een nieuw gebit of verwijderd tumorweefsel uit bot. Het weefsel is biologisch en wordt opgenomen en weer onderdeel van het lichaam.
