Geo Plus is happy to announce to have concluded the transfer of ownership of Geo Plus to N-Sea Group. Geo Plus has now become a member of the N-Sea Group, but will continue to operate as an independent company out of the same office in Groningen and with the same team. According to Patrick Defilet Managing Director (and former co-owner) of Geo Plus, the future growth ambitions of the company are secured with the acquisition and adds “N-sea is very successful in the current markets and the further collaboration allows us to take full advantage of their organizational capabilities and resources, an excellent starting point for an integrated market approach! I also want to sincerely thank all Geo Plus colleagues that have jointly build the company and legacy to what it is today.” A special thanks goes out to NVNOM (co-shareholder since 2011) for supporting the growth ambitions in the past decade and to Sanne van Dijk from BDS Advocatuur for the support in the Closing of the transaction. Geo Plus – established in 1994 – is a worldwide operating service provider in the Survey Industry. Geo Plus operates a fleet of 5 highly specialised survey vessels, which are currently operating on long term projects in Europe and the Middle East. The fuel-efficient vessels are well equipped for all types of geophysical surveys and inspection activities. Amongst others Geo Plus offers: · Sophisticated survey platforms and a highly qualified, experienced and pro-active marine crew · Survey vessels which are equipped with high graded hull and moonpool mounted survey equipment · Technical, Survey and Operational support · The possibility to charter the vessels with or without surveyors · An attitude and culture where the highest operational excellence is established in a long-term relation with clients and partners This acquisition will play a key role in realising N-Sea’s ambition to become the subsea services contractor of choice. By acquiring Geo Plus, N-Sea increases its capacity and capabilities in the field of shallow water hydrographic surveys, both Geophysical and Geotechnical.
