I'm thrilled to share a double dose of exciting news! In September, I had the privilege of attending the 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 conference, 𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 (𝗘𝗠𝗕𝘀) 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗞 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻. Hosted by the esteemed trio of Minority Supplier Development UK ( MSDUK ) and European Supplier Diversity Program ( ESDP ), the conference served as a powerful platform connecting "diverse" entrepreneurs of all branches and sizes with the procurement decision makers of major corporate organizations. On the sourcing side, nobody confuses #DiversityManagement with societal engagement ❗Amazon, Accenture, HSBC, EY, Google, Meta among other global leaders (I could go on with name dropping for a while 😉) know that 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 #Supply 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿: in order to achieve their strategic objectives, the procurement processes are adapted while the delivery requirements remain non-negotiable. That's how we collaborate at eye-level, learn from each other and grow together ✨. As a keynote #speaker , business #consultant , and team #facilitator with a strong focus on #diversity management and mindset, I was especially keen to glean insights into the latest trends and best practices in this critical field of inclusive sourcing strategies. The conference delivered in spades, offering a wealth of knowledge and fostering valuable networking opportunities with awesome entrepreneurs, possible business partners and corporate buyers. But the excitement doesn't stop there! I'm also proud to announce that 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝘆 𝗘𝗦𝗗𝗣 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🎉 – the necessary "key" to the inclusive procurement programs. Last week, boom! Global Network hosted an event focusing on supplier diversity and inclusive procurement. We heard from  Lushentha Naidoo  (Managing Director, European Supplier Diversity Program) and  Reshma Sheikh (Managing Director, MSDUK) about how they are working to create positive change in the global supply chain by empowering ethnic minority businesses. These two European non-profit organisations are committed to supplier diversity and inclusive procurement. They create a platform for corporate customers to work with and use their networks to find suppliers – they are the bridge that connects them. As they both emphasise, supplier diversity is a business imperative. We also heard from two special guests: Anna Hakobyan, PMP, CFCM (Global Sustainability, Supplier Diversity & Government Compliance Lead at AstraZeneca) and Axelle Ahanhanzo, (founder and change maker at LAUDACE ), who talked about their experiences working with MSDUK and ESDP.
