Our EWPN team in growing in the UK!!! We are excited that Helen Owen formerly one of our goodwill ambassador is European Women Payments Network (EWPN) London Country Ambassador. Helen is a marketing communications consultant with 20 years’ experience supporting #B2B companies ranging in size from small startups to global corporations. She has worked in the payments industry since 2007 when she joined global payments processor First Data. Currently, she works as an independent consultant, working with payments processors, FinTech’s, SaaS operators and service companies in the UK, US and Europe. Her specialization is on helping businesses who have a niche or complex offering to cut through the crowded marketplace and communicate their story and values through Strategic Marketing, content creation, and targeted campaigns. She also helps businesses with their corporate communications approach during periods of evolution such as M&A, IPO, structural and cultural change activities. She strongly believe in the power of #diversity in the workplace and is keen to advocate and assist the promotion of improved #inclusion and access to opportunity within the payments industry. 🌟 Champions of Change - The Spotlight Series! 🌟   I first met Merima Mahmutovic through the fantastic European Women Payments Network (EWPN), where we co-led the organisation of the EWPN annual event in Vienna last year, attended by over 300 women and allies - What an incredible experience it was! Merima's passion for finance and diversity and inclusion is truly inspiring. She dreams big and makes those dreams a reality, driving change not only in the industry but also in her home country, Bosnia & Herzegovina.   This year, Merima led a SEE regional event that brought together key players and influencers to discuss important topics and champion change.
