Over ons
The European Network for Cyber Security (ENCS) is a non-profit membership organization bringing together critical infrastructure stake owners and security experts to deploy secure European critical energy grids and infrastructure. Founded in 2012, we have dedicated researchers and test specialists who work with our members and partners on defining technical security requirements, component and end-to-end testing, as well as education and training. We use our network in academia, government and business to provide cyber security solutions and counsel dedicated to the needs of national Distribution System Operators (DSO) and regulators. Our core focus is on educating on and solving cyber security challenges in the development and operation of energy grids and other critical infrastructure grids across Europe. 🎬 Network Code Cybersecurity video series! Today, we are tackling the #supplychain security together with Eva Marie Kurscheid, Network Code and Clean Energy Package Implementation Working Group Convenor at ENTSO-E. This video will focus on three main aspects: 1️⃣ Cybersecurity procurement recommendations. 2️⃣ How those recommendations fit into the broader context of entity-level cybersecurity risk management. 3️⃣ How the recommendations ensure the overall security of the procurement process of ICT products, services, and processes. 🎬 Network Code Cybersecurity video series is now live! We are proud to launch the video series that explains the Network Code on Cybersecurity (NCCS). The first video was recorded with European Commission's Policy Officer on Cybersecurity at DG ENER, Felipe Castro Barrigon, to provide an overview of the context and regulatory background of the Code, including its scope and objectives, main responsible parties, as well as its relationship with other European cybersecurity legislation. You can also learn about the Entities included in the scope of the NCCS and the obligations that apply to entities defined as high-impact or critical-impact. 🤝 The NCCS is a directly applicable and legally binding regulation, aiming to support a common level of cybersecurity for cross-border electricity flows in Europe.
