Have you ever heard of a retirement home for trees? Over the past five years, we have worked hard to transform a piece of former farmland in Gemeente Land van Cuijk into a landscape park called 'De Heerlijckheid'. 💚 Trees that are too old to place in projects but still have a place in our hearts we plant here. Precisely because of their age, they also still have enormous ecological value, which is good for biodiversity in the park. 🌲 We also plant some of the nursery's biggest loners in the park, so that they can be admired in a park-like setting and selected for the really special locations. 🤸♀️ Meanwhile, residents and recreationists can enjoy the park by picnicking, playing football or just taking a nap in the sun. #knowhowtogrow #greencities #landscaping

The entrance to our headquarters is adorned with wild flowers such as Phacelia tanacetifolia (or Lacy phacelia) and Eschscholzia californica (or California poppy). These plants provide pollen and nectar for various pollinators. Besides, it is a beautiful sight, the bright orange with the almost contrasting green colour of the majectic trees that provide shade and coolness to our team members in the office. #wildflowers #insects #knowhowtogrow

We hereby announce an important change in our leadership. Dirk Ebben, who has played a key role in the company for 12 years, will take over as CEO from Toon Ebben. Toon will remain a member of the board and will use his expertise and knowledge as an advisor, mentor and sparring partner. This transition coincides with the completion of the last spring pruning. Handing over the pruning shears from Toon to Dirk symbolises not only the completion of an important phase, but also the optimal preparation of the company for further growth and development. A celebration around this transition will be held in private with all employees today on the 21st of June. This day was also chosen symbolically; the sun is at its peak and a change of season is occurring. How to create the right wadi design? Did you know although wadi is originally an Arabic word and means 'dry riverbed', the Dutch meaning is different. The letters stand for the functions of a wadi: Water, Afvoer, Drainage and Infiltratie [Water, Discharge, Drainage and Infiltration].
