The first article in the Donders Wonders Summer Series☀️ explores how cutting-edge neurotechnology allows us to study the brain in naturalistic settings. 🌿🧠 Rapid advances in wireless technology, micro-electromechanical systems, and signal processing have driven neurotechnology forward. Portable devices like EEG and fNIRS now enable wireless brain activity monitoring, letting researchers capture complex brain networks and behaviors influenced by rich sensory and social stimuli, far beyond the confines of the lab.
