Two weeks ago, we wrapped up our participation in Techleap's Pole Position program, and it's time for some reflections! Here’s three lessons we learned: Lesson#1 → Learning from mentors' highs and lows was powerful. Building a company is a non-linear path, and we learned much from others' stories of success and failure. Actually, failure is more valuable than success because it's clear what needs to be avoided. These conversations with speakers and mentors resonated deeply with us. Lesson#2 → Meeting a diverse mix of founders and entrepreneurs was inspiring. Different people, different ideas, and different ways of handling almost anything startup-related. The value lies not in holding a single thought or a single way of doing things but in hearing, understanding, and learning, regardless of whether one agrees or not. Lesson#3 → Observing different ventures’ approaches was eye-opening. This was the cherry on top. Often, we go into our "cave," building, focusing on our business, and making it better, faster, more effective. Yet sometimes, we find ourselves lost in the jungle, chopping and hacking to get through. By learning from how other entrepreneurs did it, we had a chance to stop, climb up a tree, and get a bird’s-eye view of where we stand. And we found our Kilimanjaro mountain! 👇 What Now?👇 Now it's time to take all these learnings, climb down the tree, and walk our path to our Kilimanjaro! Thank Techleap for making this possible and connecting all these loose dots and shout-out to our fellow entrepreneurs from Loop Robots, ATRO Medical BV, Choice - Every Child Desired, STIL, Spatium Medical, Sensius, Sensible Healthcare Systems, and IMcoMET. And don’t forget to like this post ❤️ if you found it useful. We do appreciate it! 🥐

Join us Today Tuesday, 25th, at TechTalk XL, organized by NecstGen at Leiden Bio Science Park, to discover how Digi.Bio's innovative single-cell immune-profiling platform is revolutionizing the way drug developers approach CAR-T cell therapy. Measuring the potency and defining the mode of action of CAR-T and other cell therapies is a formidable challenge. Our technology opens a door to the unseen, offering access to data on cell-cell interactions and serial killing that were previously beyond reach. Spots are limited and running out, be quick in securing your ticket! See link here → https://lnkd.in/e8rPfw_n #LifeSciences #ProgrammableBiology #WeSeeTheImmuneSystem

Last week, during the Pole Position program, we had the privilege to connect with exceptional founders who shared their journeys and provided valuable tips on navigating fundraising challenges in deep tech. A big thank you to Techleap and the speakers for the insightful session: Tim Knotnerus (CEO at Agomab Therapeutics), Rob Konterman (Co-founder of Castor), Frans Cromme (CEO at ViCentra), and Wietse Mulder (Founder of GenDx). We also appreciate the support from BioPartner Leiden. Excited for the next session this week at Google in Amsterdam! #DeepTech #PolePosition #LifeSciences #ProgrammableBiology #Funding #Innovation #WeSeeTheImmuneSystem #StartupJourney #Entrepreneurship #Leadership #Teamwork

🌟 Last week we participated at Pole Position! This session was focused on how leadership and team composition are vital to achieve organizational success! 🙌 Our founders had the incredible opportunity to learn from industry titans. Their wisdom and insights were invaluable, offering a perfect blend of tough love and inspiration. Here are some insights we gained: Establishing a well-defined end goal is essential for steering your strategy and making informed decisions. Cultivating a trusting environment empowers your team to exceed expectations and deliver outstanding results. Engaging a diverse group of interviewers during the hiring process ensures fair evaluation and enhances team diversity. As we gear up for this week's session on the challenging topic of funding ahead of traction, we're more motivated than ever to apply these insights to our journey in the Life Sciences & Health sector.🚀 #DeepTech #PolePosition #LifeSciences #ProgrammableBiology #Leadership #Teamwork #Innovation #WeSeeTheImmuneSystem Techleap
