More than welcome Thijs. Lots of fun and success! And all followers: stay tuned for more updates! #PCBAProtoLabEnschede
Dear Network, A lot has happened in the past few months, so it's time for an update on my recent adventures and the challenges ahead! First, we need to go back to the end of January, when I successfully completed the last courses of my combined degree in Interaction Technology and Embedded Systems. All that remains is my internship and thesis. In February, I started my internship at Rosenxt Group, where I conducted research on the system architecture of the water pipeline inspection tooling. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the offices in Enschede and Lingen and am grateful for the many interesting discussions and conversations with my enthusiastic colleagues at ROSENXT and supervisors from the University of Twente. The team and the environment were both fascinating and inspiring. Personally, I am proud of what I have been able to achieve in my relatively short time at the company, and I would like to thank Klaas Kole, Pascal Rakers, Berend Jan van der Zwaag, and Gwenn Englebienne for the organization and pleasant collaboration. With a successful internship behind me, I started the final part of my studies, my master's thesis. At the Robotics and Mechatronics Lab (RAM Lab), I will be researching the relationship between Quality of Service and Quality of Experience in the field of telerobotics, an interesting and incredibly broad topic that I will be focusing on extensively until at least July 2025. Finally, I will be diving into another exciting opportunity in the world of PCB assembly in the coming period. Together with the enthusiastic team of DeltaProto B.V.in Broek in Waterland, we are bringing the unique concept of fast and iterative PCB production closer to you (at least, if you find yourself in the beautiful Twente region)! ProtoLab 2.0 is coming to Enschede, so you can make your wildest PCB dreams come true starting in October 2024! If you're curious about the concept and want to how it can work for you, let's grab a coffee. In short, there's work to be done, but I wouldn't have it any other way! Thijs
