Excited to announce our collaboration with Schweizer Design Consulting GmbH! This year, we embarked on an ambitious project to integrate a Hyperloop station with Schiphol Airport. While we tackled significant logistical challenges, we also designed the passenger experience. We are thrilled to have had the expertise of Schweizer Design to guide us in making bolder design decisions. Their team used Blender to design the benches, gates, tables, and shops. They also contributed innovative ideas for the outer shell of the Hyperloop tubes. In addition, Schweizer Design played a crucial role in finalizing our renders, which gained widespread attention and coverage in the Dutch media. Working with such talented designers has been an invaluable learning experience. We are thrilled to have collaborated with Studio KU on the physical model for our Hyperloop Station Schiphol design! The model's exceptional finish and meticulous attention to detail perfectly capture our vision. Working with KU has been an amazing experience! Their passion, skill, and professionalism truly elevate their craftsmanship to an art form. The design of our station consists of multiple levels: logistics, departure and arrival. Despite the station's density, Studio KU managed to show all three levels perfectly in relation to each other. This helps people to truly understand how our station works. Wat een inspirerende dag op… jawel: de Van Gelder Inspiratiedag! Deze dag organiseerde Van Gelder Groep voor haar opdrachtgevers en stond in het teken van duurzaam ondernemen. De locatie die daar perfect bij paste was YES!Delft. Zij bieden een omgeving waarin startups met veelbelovende ideeën kunnen uitgroeien tot succesvolle bedrijven. Drie van de vele startups vertelden aan ons hun verhaal. Dank aan TILER, ConXys Technologies International en Delft Hyperloop! Daarnaast gaf professor Jan Rotmans ons een sterke presentatie waarin hij vertelde dat samenwerking ontzettend belangrijk is om innovatie te stimuleren. Naast de presentaties van de drie startups, konden alle aanwezigen tijdens het netwerkmoment nog in gesprek met de startups GEHECO, Coding the Curbs, Geotherm Electric, and KE-chain. Zoals algemeen directeur Henri van der Kamp van #teamvangelder aangaf: het was een geslaagde dag! 💡 Hyperloop Highlight: Delft Hyperloop #DemonstrationDay 🤩 This month, Delft Hyperloop showcased their hyperloop pod taking a lane switch during a highly anticipated demonstration event. Their vehicle - the Delft Hyperloop Helios III pod - successfully took a lane switch whilst being levitated in a scaled hyperloop test infrastructure. Our Hyperloop station is crafted to be fast, secure, and comfortable, ensuring a seamless passenger experience. Thanks to the station's compact design it fits perfectly in the limited space of Schiphol. By integrating this state-of-the-art Hyperloop station with an airport, we have created a ground breaking starting point to revolutionize short-haul travel in Europe. We can finally show what our Design Engineers have been working on all year. Last Wednesday, our partner Van Gelder Groep hosted an inspiring 'Inspiration Day' at YES!Delft, inviting their customers to our incubator to explore the latest tech innovations. The event started with a keynote speech by Jan Rotmans, who emphasized the critical role of collaboration in driving innovation and addressing global challenges. The day featured inspiring pitches from several startups, including TILER, ConXys Technologies International, and Delft Hyperloop. During the networking dinner, provided by yescatering, additional startups such as GEHECO, Coding the Curbs, Geotherm Electric, and KE-chain, joined the lively discussions, fostering even more connections and idea exchanges. DELFT HYPERLOOP DEMONSTRATION DAY AFTERMOVIE! Missed our demonstration day? Have a look at our aftermovie to get an impression of the day! Last Tuesday, we proudly presented our latest innovations to the world and it was a huge success! At our event, we showcased a year's worth of hard work. We unveiled our groundbreaking research on integrating a hyperloop system with airports and demonstrated the latest technologies for entering a hyperloop pod. We also provided a LIVE demonstration of Helios III, the first hyperloop pod fully capable of executing a scalable lane switch. This breakthrough sets the stage for a future where multiple hyperloop tracks seamlessly connect creating a hyperloop network. With our research papers, design insights, and our newest innovative Hyperloop Pod, we aim to compete and win both the Full Pod Award and the Full Scale Paper Awards at European Hyperloop Week (EHW) next month. We are thrilled to share the details of our unique lane switch track, made possible by the support of multiple partners. To start, Ferna Services B.V., Avezaat Staal and Rotterdam Ship Repair B.V. played crucial roles in steel manufacturing and processing. These experts provided very insightful feedback and overcame the challenges of creating the custom crossing segments between the straight and curved track, crucial for the lane-switch. The process of the custom crossing segments involved advanced techniques like water cutting, sheet metal rolling, and welding, followed by blasting and coating for extra durability. Their high-quality expertise and very quick delivery were crucial to the success of this project.  A big thank you to Ferna Services B.V., Avezaat Staal, and Rotterdam Ship Repair B.V. for their dedication and expertise!

Een team van TU Delft studenten heeft onlangs met succes een prototype van een Hyperloop ontwikkeld dat succesvol van baan kon wisselen.
