Exciting developments happening for Q*BIRD B.V.! The Delft quantum cryptography specialist and Delft Enterprises portfolio company successfully raised €2.5 million to accelerate the growth of their groundbreaking Falqon quantum security technology. Q*bird's quantum cryptography solutions are designed to provide enhanced security against today’s cyber threats and prepare their customers for future quantum computing attacks. The funding round was co-led by QDNL Participations and Cottonwood Technology Fund, with additional support from InnovationQuarter. Congratulations Ingrid Romijn, Remon Berrevoets and Joshua A. ⚡ Great news! Our portfolio company Ore Energy today announced its groundbreaking battery based on only iron, water and air. 🔋 These batteries can reduce the cost of long-duration energy storage by 10x compared to currently used li-ion batteries. 💰 The TU Delft spin-off company also raised €10 million from Positron Ventures & SPRIND - Bundesagentur für Sprunginnovationen and is making plans for large scale production. 🎉 Congratulations to Aytac Yilmaz and the team! 🚩 Congratulations GBM Works and Ecowende! The two companies have signed a contract for the installation of three monopiles in the Hollandse Kust West (HKW) Site VI offshore wind farm using GBM’s novel noise reducing technology, the Vibrojet. 👷🏼 The scope of the contract includes, amongst others, engineering and manufacturing of the jetting system and offshore support during the installations. To execute the project, GBM Works is also working closely with Ecowende’s partners Van Oord, Sif Group and Ramboll.
