Frits Grotenhuis joins the dcypher Advisory Board We are pleased to announce Frits Grotenhuis has joined the dcypher Advisory Board. As director and Board Member at Topsector ICT - TKI ICT since 2021, Frits has a thorough understanding of what is needed for the Netherlands to stay secure and innovative and thus remain a world player in technology and digitalisation. Specialising in strategy development, public-private partnerships, innovation, and digitalisation, his expertise is underpinned by a background in economics and technical business administration. Furthermore, Frits is a supervisory board member at Kyndryl NL and at the growth fund consortium Future Network Services (geared at the development from 5G to 6G). This summer kicked off with the National Cyber Summer Event on June 4th, where we started planning to enhance cybersecurity in the Netherlands. Our CS4NL programme continues to boost cybersecurity innovation, with industry and research partnerships supported by NWO, TKI and SBIR grants. We’re also preparing for the NCS3: Nationale Cybersecurity Summer School from August 19-23, featuring over 25 experts and 65 students. Strengthening cybersecurity workforce: a call for collaborative action 🔒 Addressing the shortage in the cybersecurity workforce is crucial and must be a top priority for all relevant ministries. This requires coordinated efforts across public, private, and academic sectors. The Cyber Security Raad has made this clear in a recent letter to the new Minister of Economic Affairs. 🌐 This advice is key as we develop an independent multi-year cybersecurity program within the Human Capital Agenda for ICT. The Ministry of Economic Affairs, Platform Talent voor Technologie and dcypher are collaborating closely with stakeholders in the cybersecurity field to drive this forward.
