🌟 Exciting Highlights from the IEEE Medical Measurements & Applications Conference! 🌟 We were thrilled to host this prestigious event at the Conference Center High Tech Campus Eindhoven in Brainport Eindhoven, bringing together over 250 participants from around the globe, including researchers, health professionals, technicians, and engineers. The conference featured inspiring keynote speakers such as Chris Van Hoof and Silvia Lenaerts, Rector Magnificus of Eindhoven University of Technology. Over three days, attendees delved into the latest healthcare innovations, supported by presentations from fifty invited speakers and forty engaging poster sessions. Thanks to the efforts of Full Professor Massimo Mischi and his team, this symposium was a great success. It proved that our region is perfectly suited to hosting such prestigious events. The event provided ample opportunities for informal networking through a delightful 𝗕𝗕𝗤 and a stylish 𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 Kazerne. 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗘𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗵𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗶𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗲 💡 Many companies in the Brainport region have grown significantly - you're probably familiar with Philips and ASML. It all starts with an idea that has the potential to make the world a better place. But it doesn't stop with these established names. It's the combination of technology and design, and our unique collaboration model that makes this region the ultimate breeding ground for startups. That's why a large group of volunteers led by Innovation Origins names the most promising startups every year. This year marked the tenth edition of the event, bringing the total number of awarded startups to 100(!). Today the IEEE Medical Measurements & Applications Conference kicked off with an opening of Silvia Lenaerts, Rector Magnificus of the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven. The opening keynote was on implantable and ingestible sensing, enabled by circuit and systems innovations by Chris Van Hoof. More than 270 attendees signed up for the annual symposium, which allows researchers, healthcare professionals, technicians, and engineers to exchange ideas and information and collaborate on advancing innovation in healthcare systems and diagnostics in medicine. Attendees worldwide came to Conference Center High Tech Campus Eindhoven to share their knowledge and connect.
