Voor een nieuwe serie die we maken over MedTech Twente, belichten we elke aflevering een nieuwe innovatieve technologie. We trappen af met injectietechnologie. Aafke Eppinga sprak met Jeroen Wissink (Uneedle) en Lea Milovich (FlowBeams) over de noodzaak van een lange adem, ondernemen in de MedTech sector en de kansen die het ecosysteem in Twente ze daarbij biedt. De een (Lea) ontwikkelt geavanceerde, naaldloze injectietechnologie en bevindt zich strikt genomen nog in de startup fase. De ander ontwikkelt naalden die zo klein zijn dat ze in (en niet onder) de huid injecteren en verkocht al miljoenen micronaalden (Jeroen). Wat hen bindt? Zowel FlowBeams als Uneedle zijn MedTech spin-offs van de University of Twente, allebei ontwikkelen ze een product op microschaal en allebei zijn ze van plan met hun technologie de levens van miljoenen mensen makkelijker, veiliger en gezonder te maken. De Talententuin has been a successful career and networking event in the Achterhoek region for many years and last year's first edition in Twente was also a great success. It is an interactive, easily accessible and unique career fair where both Dutch and international students from MBO, HBO and University and Twente companies meet. In cooperation with partners, including the programme Happy to be in Twente, De Talententuin Twente will be organised on 9 October at Metropool in Enschede. There will be workshops, presentations, networking moments and all in a relaxed festival atmosphere. The aim is to make the beautiful and innovative companies in Twente visible to young (international) talent. In this way, The Talent Garden inspires these students and young professionals with the many career opportunities our region has to offer. As an employer, you will thus come into contact with young people in a low-threshold manner and perhaps fill internships, graduation places or vacancies from this contact.
