In a recent article, we introduced the #ChilasCOMET Swept Source Laser and its potential across various applications. Since then, our engineers have been busy putting it to the test, and more recently run an absorption spectrum experiment with a gas cell to explore its performance in spectroscopy and sensing. ☄ With a 40 nm/s sweep rate, we recorded the HCN absorption lines in sync with our oscilloscope, resulting in a clear, high-resolution spectrum. The result? The COMET’s precision is spot-on for high-precision spectroscopy! ➤ Check out our demo on the Chilas COMET Swept Source Laser: https://lnkd.in/dRwEaJY6 ➤ Did not hear yet about Chilas COMET? We covered all the details in an article: https://lnkd.in/eQY4szAp #SweptSourceLaser #TunableLaser #ChilasLasers

Who says exhibitions can’t be fun? This time, we went all out in Frankfurt. It all started with a four-hour car journey from Enschede, Netherlands, to Frankfurt, Germany. The first day at ECOC? Let’s just say it began slowly. Our demo wasn’t working… or was it? After some quick-thinking and hands-on craftsmanship from our CTO, Dimitri Geskus, who wiggled a few wires here and there, the demo was back in action— even with a dead photodiode. The show must go on, right? Exhibitions rarely run super smoothly. No one says it, but everyone knows it. We dress up, look presentable, and get ‘ready to show stuff,’ but let’s be honest — the best part of these events is the connections we make. Not just with those who see the value in our products and services, but also with our team. At Chilas, we love to have fun. Over the past three days, we’ve been fostering connections on both sides. During the day, we showcased our recently developed Swept Source laser— #ChilasCOMET, a product we truly believe can revolutionize industries. In the evenings, we explored Frankfurt’s towering skyline, still pretty with the late-September gloomy weather and all, with good food, drinks, and great company— partners and friends alike. Thank you all for being here with us, customers, partners, friends, (amazing) organizers PhotonicsNL PhotonDelta Holland High Tech and of course ECOC Exhibition #ECOC24 #ECOC2024. See you at PIC Summit Europe!
