Next to having been at the forefront of electronic music as a Founding Partner of ADE, BumaStemra has consistently advocated for fair compensation for music creators. This is how they did that at ADE24! One of the freshly debuted and immediately successful highlights of ADE Lab was the popular ‘From Play to Pay’ panel, where BumaStemra’s Jurjan Rietveld and artist Polly Anna explained royalties in easy-to-understand language. The panel ‘Music Rights on Tour' with Laura van Dam was as much of a must-visit, alongside the talk and workshop in collaboration with YouTube. The rights organization hosted festive activities as well: their yearly, by now famous, Cocktail Hour, closed of with a live performance by machìna. The same enthusiasm to come together was felt by visitors at both ADE Pro Business Hubs where BumaStemra was present, too. Our round table invites leaders and decision-makers to engage in meaningful discussions on how to cultivate safe environments in their organizations.
