Absolutely delighted with what we found at work today – a beautiful (and delicious) surprise to celebrate one of our recent achievements!🧁 Taking time to celebrate our successes is essential, and this one is truly special. A few months ago, we successfully produced a GMP-level drug substance and drug product under unique and challenging conditions: 🧫 The cells used behaved like the “Princess and the Pea” and had to be treated very gently. 🔬 We navigated deviations and out-of-specification situations. 🏭 This was our first production in a newly added facility. ⚗️ We utilized a new, more efficient GMP bioreactor system for production. Despite these challenges, our incredible team achieved success in record time: 🧁 Record time of 2 months between production and release of drug substance and drug product 🧁 The teamwork, both inter and intra-departmental, was outstanding. 🧁 We gained valuable lessons throughout the process. 🍰 The happy customer informed us that they've been approved to start their clinical trial!
