The concept of Total Cost of Ownership plays a central role in all our provided products and services. In the context of climate action, it transpires that Carbon Capture Utilisation (CCU) has become a key challenge for the chemical industry. Therefore we also decided to invest in a novel green technology process to produce organic carbonates for the electric vehicle industry. Therefore, the current main focus of the ALTA GROUP is the engineering, construction and commissioning of a pilot plant for cyclic carbonates. The plant will produce High Purity grades for the battery industry.

“Onze missie is om de chemische industrie substantieel te vergroenen,” zegt Frank Vergunst, oprichter van ALTA GROUP. Tot aan de verkiezingen op 22 november laten we wekelijks zien hoe chemiebedrijven werken aan een duurzaam Nederland. Alta is één van de eerste bedrijven in Nederland die afgevangen CO2 omzet in nieuwe materialen. Het bedrijf bouwt een pilot-fabriek om CO2 om te zetten naar een vloeistof voor batterijen.
