🔋 Starting July 1st, 2024, Allego will introduce an overstay fee on all High-Power Chargers (HPCs) across our European network. This initiative aims to ensure fair access and reduce waiting times by encouraging efficient use of charging stations. 🕒 After 45 minutes, a nominal fee of 25 cents per minute will apply, encouraging quicker turnover and availability. This change supports the growing demand for our services and ensures that more drivers can charge without unnecessary delays. Road to Le Mans Day 2 Recap 🔋🚗 Yesterday morning in Venlo, Ford Motor Company joined the Allego Road Trip to Le Mans convoy to celebrate our partnership. The highlight was undoubtedly the new Ford Explorers on display. It was a feast for the eyes and set an exhilarating tone for the rest of the day. After a hearty breakfast, we made our way from Venlo to an Allego charging location near Antwerp. Following a quick recharge and a refreshment restock, the team was back on the road, heading towards our final destination. Despite some racers getting sidetracked by Parisian highways, our convoy reunited at the Le Mans campsite around 10 PM. We secured our plot, pitched our tents, and reminisced about our incredible journey from Copenhagen to Le Mans. The camaraderie, challenges, and shared passion for EVs made this an unforgettable experience. Day 1 and the Allego team started early, meeting at the Copenhagen office at 5 AM before heading to the FDM Sjællandsringen track in a convoy. Steven Lau handed out personalized stickers, and after a spin around the track, we set off again. At Bøjden, all 50 cars boarded a ferry. We enjoyed a live DJ set, refreshments, and sunshine on the rooftop deck. In Nordborg, Danfoss welcomed us warmly. After a talk by Torben Christensen on EVs and a quick lunch, we convoyed to an Allego charging location near Hamburg. There, participants received goodie bags, Nocco and Vitamin Well Group drinks, and limited edition vintage Le Mans posters. Despite rain and traffic, we reached our final stop for the day, Van der Valk Hotel Venlo, while competing in a Kahoot quiz.
