AERO in the Top 20 !🚀 We are thrilled to share that AERO was selected as one of the top 20 teams in the UT Challenge last Friday! This opportunity allowed us to pitch our ideas in front of esteemed judges and a dynamic audience. While we did not take home the winning title, the experience was invaluable. The journey provided us with significant growth throughout the exchange of knowledge and insightful feedback from industry experts. It was inspiring to witness the incredible innovation and dedication from other teams who made it to this stage alongside us. We are more motivated than ever to move forward and pursue the successes that lie ahead. Thank you to everyone who supported us along the way!

Yesterday, AERO had the pleasure of visiting the DroneTeam Twente headquarters. Our visit was filled with engaging conversations, an invaluable exchange of experiences, and insightful feedback. We were warmly welcomed by Victor Andrei, the technical manager, who shared the fascinating journey of DroneTeam Twente, highlighting both their successes and challenges in drone development. We also had the opportunity to interact with other team members, gaining firsthand knowledge of their production and assembly processes, and observing their flight trials. Additionally, we learned more about their partners, along with their valuable feedback. We are incredibly grateful for the time and information shared with us. The visit has been truly enlightening and has the potential to contribute to our ongoing journey.

Exciting News from AERO! 🚁 We're thrilled to share that AERO had the incredible opportunity to participate in the prestigious Amsterdam Drone Week 2024! 🌟 With nearly 3,200 attendees from over 20 countries, this event was a hub of innovation, knowledge sharing, and networking in the drone industry. At Amsterdam Drone Week, CEO Alexander Nieuwland immersed himself in discussions covering a wide array of topics, including urban air operations, vehicle development, integrated skies, policy and regulations, ground infrastructure, and use-case solutions. The focus was primarily on exploring the vast applications of drones, from inspection & maintenance to public safety & emergency services, security & counter-drone measures, surveying & mapping, and last-mile logistics. The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the insightful panel discussions featuring over 250 speakers, representing esteemed organizations such as EASA, International Civil Aviation Organization, United Nations, Boeing, EUROCONTROL, Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, KPN, and many more. It was a privilege to learn from the best minds in the industry and gain invaluable insights into the latest advancements and trends shaping the future of drone technology. AERO has graduated from the Novel-T START program! 🚀 Being part of this program has been an incredible journey for us at AERO. We are grateful for the valuable guidance and support from knowledgeable individuals who have helped steer us toward success. A special thanks to Peter Langela, our personal coach, and to all the lectures of the workshops. Their expertise and shared experiences, spanning topics from financing to marketing, have been crucial in shaping our journey. Last week, AERO kicked back at the final workshop of the "UT Challenge: Market Analysis" series, where Gilles Meijer gave useful insights on how to navigate a start-up into a market, from where to scope out different market research about the ultimate goal and why interviews are also the validation. After Gilles’s presentation, we dove into an engaging panel discussion hosted by Lars Prinsen, where different perspectives were mentioned with some inspirational outlook on things thanks to the contributions of Lea Milovich, Rogier Harmelink, and Jorg Wellink Big shoutout to all the experts who've shared their wisdom with us along this workshop journey. 🚀

Last Wednesday marked an extraordinary evening orchestrated by Oost NL, during which AERO had the opportunity to deliver a pitch alongside seven other esteemed companies. Following the conclusion of our presentation, we were met with a lot of positive responses and invaluable feedback, bolstering our confidence as we engaged with potential investors.

Last Thursday, CEO Alexander Nieuwland and CTO Ēvalds Jēkabs Grava took part in the enlightening "UT Challenge Workshop 3: Capital" led by Albert-Jan de Croes, delving into the crucial topic of accessing capital regardless of the startup phase. The session sparked compelling discussions on pivotal questions such as "How can you secure funding for the growth of your project?" and "Is selling a stake in your startup advisable?" Esteemed panelists including Yvonne Kholmy - de Jong, Jeroen Sempel, Albert-Jan de Croes, and Christoff Heunis provided insightful responses, offering diverse perspectives on crowdfunding and other funding avenues. The discourse extended to various funding mechanisms like TOP loans, and Rabo Innovation Loans, as well as external funding options such as equity, debt, and subsidies. Valuation methodologies, including the use of cap tables, were explored alongside potential subsidy opportunities. Overall, the session proved valuable, equipping attendees with practical advice on navigating one of the most critical aspects of business development. AERO expresses gratitude for the opportunity and eagerly anticipates forging ahead with newfound insights into the future.

Their insights into building networks, understanding the customer journey, and embracing feedback have undoubtedly left a lasting impact on the attendees, inspiring them to apply these lessons in their respective roles within the company. We are immensely grateful for the opportunity to participate in such a workshop which was flawlessly hosted by Vera Boertien, recognizing the contributions of all the speakers in shaping their entrepreneurial journey and contributing to the growth of their company.

The purpose was to align aspects of their work with the vision of AERO. During the visit, team manager Christina Keysers guided us through the challenges they faced, their marketing strategy, technical details of the car, and recommendations for potential partnerships. Subsequently, we had the privilege to interact with Hydrogen System Engineer Guido Metz, who provided comprehensive knowledge on every aspect of the system, addressing relevant questions crucial to our process of manufacturing. We extend our sincere gratitude to Green Team Twente, with special appreciation to Christina Keysers and Guido Metz, for their generous allocation of time and warm hospitality during our visit.
