Remember Xenix? Yeah, Microsoft tried to do Unix back in the day. Bill Gates even talked about it in Unix World magazine (circa 1985). But then they were all like, “Nah, forget Unix, we’re gonna make Windows NT!” 😅

Perl will soon have a new logo. Perl has a rich history among Unix users, and at one time, it was the industry standard for writing scripts related to automation and other things. What do you think of this new logo? Do you like it?

Google finally did it. Is it time to switch to Firefox? I believe users should be in control of what they can install and use on their desktop or laptop. There’s uBlock Origin Lite, which replaces the original uBlock Origin for Chrome and similar browsers. Give it a try.
