JOB VACANCY Job: Market Research Assistant Location: Lagos, Nigeria Salary: N100,000 to N200,000 A leading research company known for its exceptional service and comprehensive market reports is looking to hire competent market research assistants. Job Overview: The company is searching for qualified market research analyst to work on projects, research market and consumer trends and other administrative tasks. They'll analyze relevant data, handle client meetings, interpret data from across industries and communicate findings in reports. Objectives Of This Role: i. Perform quantitative and qualitative research into consumers, competitors, and the marketplace ii. Create reports, presentations, and action items based on collected data iii. Analyze data from numerous sources to identify market trends and consumer demographics iv. Identify and present how best to allocate resources to improve sales v. Evaluate market data using software and statistical techniques vi. Understand business objectives and design polls or surveys to gain insights into prospective customers’ preferences Responsibilities: i. Conduct in-depth market research and share insights on a regular basis ii. Review and interpret large data sets and organize them into spreadsheets, charts, and graphs iii. Present data findings and insights during company and client meetings iv Study consumer behaviors and attitudes and write up predictions for future sales trends v. Consolidate data findings into reports to share with clients vi. Stay up to date on market trends, consumer and product research, and industry best practices Skills and Qualifications: i. Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities ii. Great capacity to understand and relay complex data across industries iii. Comprehensive knowledge of statistics and experience with statistical technologies such as SPSS, BI and Tableau iv. Advanced computer literacy skills and a facility with search engines and web analytics v. Superb ability to multitask while paying attention to detail iv. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications: i. Experience working as a market research assistant or in a similar role ii. Degree from a higher institution. HND, Bachelor's and above iii.
