About us

Who we are? Vision An Africa with highly skilled and innovative young people and workforce, developing, transforming, and prospering her nations. Mission Adapting Nigeria’s national curriculum into the KNOSK curriculum that actionizes learning and problem solving, integrates technology and skills development, builds strong character and fosters teacher effectiveness. Our Uniqueness For as low as N100-a-day school fees, our students get quality action learning, free books, uniforms, lunch, and free sanitary pads monthly for the girls! Through a crowdfunding process, people and organizations donate to supplement the outstanding cost of fees per child. Our objectives Equipping students with action learning, problem-solving and livelihood skills. Empowering low-income children to break the cycle of poverty through access to quality education. Fostering new knowledge and homegrown innovations in teaching, learning and education financing. Why The KNOSK N100-a-day School Over 80% of Nigerian children attend public schools and low-quality private schools, According to UNESCO, only 18.72% of total secondary enrollment attend private schools. The other 81.28% attend public schools who mostly provide theoretic education that does not empower the youth with 21st-century knowledge and skills to create sustainable livelihood, break the cycle of poverty and contribute to nation-building. If this EMERGENCY continues unaddressed, our societies will continue to have millions of unemployed, poor, and desperate youth; whom in a bid to survive the hardships of poverty will be engaging in activities that would continue to undermine our peace, safety and national development. The KNOSK Theory Of Change At KNOSK School, we believe that every student, including those from low-income homes, have huge potentials that can be harnessed and shaped through an empowering education that comprises the following 5 legs: action learning, problem-solving, technology, skills, and character.

UNTOLD IMPACT Episode 2 is out!!! The Role of Civil Society in Education. I used to work for an Education policy think tank in Illinois. I understood clearly the role of Human Capital Development in the thriving of an economy. This Episode holds a special place in my heart because it communicates the current state of education in Nigeria and how Civil Society plays its part in the awareness of education and providing solutions in contributing to education. I want to thank the production team, and the interviewees who are Education experts working in the development sector to make an impact. • Meet a mother who faced incredible challenges, but refused to give up on her children's education. Abandoned by her husband, she worked tirelessly to provide for her family, selling foo-foo to pay her children's school fees religiously. When she struggled to make ends meet, our school stepped in to help, taking her children into our boarding facility to ensure their education continued uninterrupted. Our mission at KNOSK N100-a-day Charity Secondary School is to break the cycle of poverty through education. We serve hardworking families like hers, who have great potential for productivity and prosperity. You can support us in various ways: - Sponsor a child's education - Donate towards our mini-boarding facilities and feeding program - Contribute to our school bus shuttle and teachers' salaries If you know a struggling family in Kuje with a child starting JSS 1 in September, please refer them to us. • At KNOSK N100-A-DAY Charity School, we are committed to transforming lives through education. In many parts of our community, families struggle daily to provide basic necessities, leaving little room for educational expenses. We believe that financial barriers should not stand in the way of a child's right to learn and grow. Our mission is to offer quality education to children from the poorest households. With just N100 a day, you can make a significant impact. This modest amount covers the cost of a day’s education for a child, including learning materials, nutritious meals, and a supportive learning environment. Consider the potential: your contribution can open doors to opportunities that these children might otherwise never have. Imagine the future doctors, engineers, teachers, and leaders whose journeys begin with your generosity.
