Last week I wrapped up an insightful AI marketing workshop with Skill-Lyft and it’s clear that while AI offers immense potential, we're still learning how to best integrate it into our marketing strategies. The workshop was a great opportunity to hear from other marketers about their experiences using AI tools and their concerns around privacy and data protection. It was fascinating to see how diverse the applications are, from personalized content and automation to predictive analytics. Despite the excitement, it's evident that there are still significant challenges to address, including ethical considerations, data quality, and the risk of over-reliance. As we continue to explore the possibilities of AI, it's crucial to approach it with a thoughtful and responsible mindset. What are your thoughts on AI in marketing? Have you encountered any roadblocks or successes?

As I go around the world talking to folks about the reasons pay approaches must change to better address current and future employee and organisations needs, a comment I hear often goes along the lines of "I see your point, but how to manage? It breaks my heart to share that Mr. Zaini Yuhyi, our principal trainer at Skill-Lyft, passed away on 8th September 2024. I’m still in shock. We just spoke last Friday, and now, he’s gone. Mr. Zaini was more than a business partner to me, he was like a father. Always guiding, supporting, and believing in what we built at Skill-Lyft. For those of you who had the chance to attend his workshops or worked with him, you’ll know his lessons went far beyond business. He always made you reflect on how to be a better person, not just a better professional. His absence is deeply felt, but his influence and wisdom will stay with me, and with so many others, forever.
