Thank you to our training partner in Sabah, Sabah Skills & Technology Centre for hosting us during the recent virtual Coffee Talk and to all attendees for joining in on an important conversation on Malaysian senior care and living! At Care Concierge, we believe that everyone is a caregiver! Whether we are an employer, colleague or family member, we all provide care in one way or another to those around us! Our mission is to enrich the lives of seniors by supporting everyone, from those in the workplace to families, in navigating the complexities of senior care and living. Martin Yap's journey of founding Care Concierge, driven by his personal experience caring for his grandmother, showcases the power of turning compassion into action while Cathreen Cheng's decades of nursing and teaching experience underscores the critical need for well-trained and empowered caregivers! During the session, we discussed topics from common senior care challenges and the opportunities for empowering caregivers with the right skills and knowledge to exploring various senior care options suited for different care needs. We understand that juggling work and caring for ageing loved ones can be an immense challenge for many working adults. Even though the live session has concluded, we want to ensure you have the resources you need! Our esteemed guest speaker, Clinical Psychologist Miyen Low and President of the Malaysia Association for Mindfulness Practice and Research, explored the unique pressures faced by working caregivers.
