“TELEVISED RADIO”
“TELEVISED RADIO” is the Apple Music show hosted by Virgil Abloh, the visionary designer and music obsessive who became one the most influential artists of his era. These episodes—primarily recorded in 2018 and 2019, two years before the Off-White founder passed away from cancer at the age of 41—are a precious, personal memento of Abloh's creative genius. In his own words: “It is a show about painting pictures with words—an audio mood board that treats brand-new songs and timeless tracks with the same level of importance.” Abloh broadcast each show from the Louis Vuitton headquarters in Paris, where he’d become the highest-ranking Black executive in the corporation's history.
