Another Michael

Another Michael's laid-back, dreamy brand of indie folk-rock is partly indebted to Neil Young and reminiscent of contemporaries like Whitney and Fleet Foxes. Following a debut EP in 2015, the project issued its full-length debut, New Music and Big Pop, in 2021. They mixed their core jangly sound with occasional digressions into R&B, AM pop, and exploratory psych-folk on the more ambitious Wishes to Fulfill (2023) and Pick Me Up, Turn Me Upside Down (2024), a pair of companion albums divided into singles picks and deeper cuts, respectively, from the same sessions.
