About Lane 8
Celebrated deep house DJ and producer Lane 8 is the creator of a successful event series that encourages fans to forget their phones and live in the moment. • Before he produced super-smooth melodic grooves, Goldstein made garage rock with his sister. Their band was also called Lane 8. • He started releasing house records in 2012 and signed to storied label Anjunadeep in 2013. • Marked by rich and relaxing soundscapes, his 2015 debut album, Rise, features guests like Solomon Grey, Matthew Dear and Lulu James. • In 2016, he embarked on the This Never Happened Tour, wherein attendees were barred from recording videos or taking pictures. He kept the idea going in the years that followed, enabling fans to enjoy the music without distraction. He also founded a label called This Never Happened. • Lane 8 has remixed songs by the likes of Virtual Self, deadmau5, Rufus Du Sol and more. • His third album, 2020’s Brightest Lights, features several collaborations with the American synth-pop act POLIÇA.
