Burung Pipit merupakan sejenis famili burung kecil. Terdapatnya beberapa jenis burung pipit:

Pipit raya hidup secara berkumpulan yang mengandungi ratusan ekor dan selalu kelihatan di sawah-sawah padi ketika padi mulai masak.

Pipit rumah pula selalu kelihatan di rumah-rumah kampung sebagai habitatnya.

Pipit kepala hitam dan pipit kepala putih pula bersaiz lebih kecil daripada pipit raya dan pipit rumah dan saiz kelompoknya lebih kecil daripada pipit raya.
