Memporak-perandakan Utara merujuk pada sejumlah kempen-kempen yang dilakukan oleh William si Penakluk pada musim sejuk tahun 1069–70 untuk memaksa wilayah utara England, di mana menjadi kawasan perlindungan penuntut terakhir daripada Wessex, Edgar Atheling, yang menggalakan pemberontakan Anglo-Danish. William telah membayar orang-orang Dane untuk kembali ke kampung halaman mereka, para pemberontak yang masih tinggal enggan berjumpa beliau di dalam pertempuran, oleh itu beliau memutuskan untuk membulurkan mereka dengan taktik bumi-hangus, terutamanya di kota York, sebelum memecat para aristokrat England dari kedudukan mereka dan mengantikan dengan para aristokrat Norman.

Kisah-kisah kontemporari merekodkan kekejaman kempen-kempen ini, dengan kemusnahan berskala besar dan kebuluran yang meluas di sebabkan penjarahan, pembakaran dan pembunuhan. Para sarjana masa kini telah melabelkan kempen ini sebagai sebuah genosid meskipun terdapat golongan yang ragu-ragu akan kemampuan William untuk mengumpulkan tentera secukupnya untuk mengakibatkan kerosakan ini; oleh itu mereka menyimpulkan bahawa rekod-rekod mungkin mengadakan cerita atau disalah tafsir.
