Welcome to the organization pages for Wikimania 2006, the second international Wikimedia conference, to be held in Boston, Massachusetts from August 4 - 6, 2006. Want to take part? See our Call for Participation.

Planning

I.	Meta : budget, communication channels, conference software, participants, planning timeline, translation, volunteer coordination...
II.	Preparation : announcements, brainstorming (about events, speakers, topics...), international outreach, publicity, travel scholarships, visa help, translation of those news...
III.	Program : contests, hacking events, interactive art, logistics, parties, posters & presentations, proceedings, project events, recordings & podcasts, other remote participation...
