The Asia Foundation development fellows visit WMF

Please join us in meeting The Asia Foundation and their 2016 development fellows next Tuesday, September 13 at 4:00pm PST (11:00pm UTC).

The Asia Foundation is a non-profit international development organization committed to improving lives across a dynamic and developing Asia. They address critical issues affecting Asia in the 21st century by: strengthening governance, expanding economic opportunity, increasing environmental resilience, empowering women, and promoting international cooperation. The Asia Foundation has an amazing fellowship development program, and have brought over 10 of their fellows to San Francisco this month. We have invited them to share their experiences and work in education, youth and women empowerment, governmental affairs, among other fields. These emerging leaders will be here in the US to gain insights on leadership, best practices, policy, and entrepreneurship through meetings with important and innovative institutions.

We will have a mixer after their presentation, for all of us to mingle and get to know much more about their amazing work in their countries.
