This page is used for planning and discussion of the FY2009-10 Fundraising Efforts by the Wikimedia Foundation, including the 2009 Annual Fundraiser.

An effort to make the donation button more visible and viable on all Wikimedia Foundation projects.

A volunteer run survey to learn more about our donors and non-donors.

WMF has paired up with mCommons and the Mobile Giving Foundation to allow WMF to accept donations from mobile phones.

We will be introducing this service both through our mobile phone application and our donation pages when it is available.

The projected launch date is late September 2009.

Wikimedia Foundation was included on Charity Navigator in July 2009.
In August 2009, the Wikimedia Foundation filed and was approved for a Wikimedia Guidestar profile.
