As Catalan Wikiquote had a low ratio of female citation pages (15%), a biweekly challenge called 20x100 Dones was organised to reduce gender gap, promote the creation of historical women entries and reach 100 more female pages (that would suppose an increase up to 20%). The list of proposals included biographies of prominent women from the Ancient history, Middle Ages, Early and Late modern periods. In terms of contemporary entries, a selection from the list of most influential women of the twentieth century by Time magazine and the most powerful women in the world by Forbes magazine appeared. All women awarded by a Nobel Prize, most of those received the "Creu de Sant Jordi" and other historical figures linked to the Catalan speaking area were also listed.
As a result, 7 editors were involved in the challenge, and of them, those who created a minimum of 5 pages were awarded with a book. At the end of it, 56 new pages and 419 citations were created, reaching almost 20% of female biographies (19.4%).
