Changes due to Covid-19 pandemic
editDue to the Covid-19 pandemic the offline Queering Wikipedia conference was cancelled in March 2020 and postponed to 2021. In consideration of the development of the pandemic the organizer Shikeishu and Wikimedia Austria decided to suggest to move it further to 2022 and hold an online meeting in 2021 instead.
Scope of the online meeting
editThe online meeting is more an user group event than an outreach event. It aims to strengthen the user group and their structures and focuses on capacity building as well as on planning of the 2022 event. The event will take place from April 23rd to April 25th, 2021, each day 3 hours long to ensure that as many people from different time zones as possible may join the online meeting.
