Meta:Requests for translation adminship/Ijon

I'd like the translation administrator permission to be able to get some key program pages localized and accessible to as many people as possible. I have recently sought (and gratefully received!) volunteer help in getting the grants program localized, and would like to do the same for the Participation Support program (formerly known as the Participation Grants program) now. I expect other pages would need the same, including FDC updates -- even though most of the discussion is taking place on Meta and in English, we'd like to offer concise localized updates, comparable to the Wikimedia Highlights.

- I am happy to grant this right as you have demonstrated a need for it and on the basis of discussions to date at Meta talk:Translation administrators, which imply that this right should be given out to people who need it without too much bureaucracy. However, I will wait a short while before giving you the user right, to allow others the opportunity to comment if they so wish. Best, The Helpful One 19:57, 23 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Fairly obvious to me the bit should be flipped. Courcelles 04:59, 24 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
