I remind myself after the election, that for all of us, it has been worse at some point. I must be part of the answer.

Our future has never been more uncertain, but we can survive.

It won’t be long until we find out what we’re truly made of.

On elections, backlash, fear, and vulnerability

Trump will be president again, misogynists and bigots are emboldened, #MeToo has failed, and the cops aren’t coming to protect us

And I refuse to die

I’ll repaint the mural myself if I have to

To say I stand with the LGBTQ community, with people of all racial heritages, with the immigrant population — that’s not nearly enough.

And I’m working through my feelings

Save the tears. Celebrate the lives.
