Have you witnessed the glory of sun rising in the Grand Canyon?
Waking up before 4:30am the very next day after reaching the hotel late at night, was quite an effort.
It was surprisingly cool as we drove in the dark for almost thirty minutes, towards the recommended vista point.
As we parked the car, we could see a few people gathered by the ledge with cameras and binoculars.
No one could’ve prepared us for what lay shrouded in darkness, just beyond.
It was all quiet with openness spread above and below. The anticipation building as the ‘stage lights’ came on with the nascent rays of sunshine.
As the sun rose, the first glimpse of the canyon over the ledge was a sight straight out of a picture book!
