SHTANK RPG Prototype

SHTANK RPG Prototype is an SRPG by Matthew Roy. Play as the wacky Super Hero Team of Atomic Nashbalms from Kansville as they traverse overworlds and fight in dynamic grid-based combat.

This prototype is rough around the edges but displays implementations of combat grids being created at runtime, grid-based combat, and enemy AI inspired by chess AI. The build was mostly made back in 2021, now released in 2023 with some cleanup to make it feel more complete. This version of the game is no longer in development, but it is likely a completely reworked SHTANK RPG will be released in the future.

There are 6 playable characters. Playing the game and winning battles unlocks characters, but you can also manually edit your party outside of combat by pressing P.
