MUTE is (MathGum) Unique Tileset Extractor.

FEATURES

You have drawn a mockup for a tile game, and now you want to remove repeated tiles on it to make a tileset? This tool will help you with that!

HOW TO USE

1) Load an image using the "Load image" button. BMP, PNG, JPG, TGA formats are supported;

2) Enter the width and height of a single tile;

3) Press "Delete repeats". The app will scan all the tiles and leave only the first ones. The rest will be deleted.

4) To save the result, type a convenient postfix for the new file (default is "_output") and click "Save file". An image with a similar format will appear next to your file, but with the postfix in the name, so as not to replace the original

CANVAS CONTROL

Right mouse button - move the canvas.

Mouse wheel - zoom.

To reset the zoom to 100% or to center the view, there are necessary buttons in the corner of the canvas.

AFTER DOWNLOAD

P.S.

There are a couple of similar software on the web, but they do automatic sorting and packing of tiles, and we wanted to arrange the tiles ourselves, so we had to write such a utility.
