Kylie Jenner is on a one-way track in dominating to beauty industry. First came lips, and now it's nail polish.
After conquering the lipstick world with sold out lip kits, the makeup maven decided to move on and collaborate with nail brand SinfulColors — thus, making Kylie's Klaws accessible to the rest of the non-Kardashian/Jenner world.
Jenner's first foray into beauty was with The Kylie Lip Kit, which effectively broke the Internet last November. The kits, complete with lipliner and matching liquid lipstick, sold out within minutes, crashing Jenner's site and infuriating interested buyers.
She expanded her Lip Kit line this month by adding three new Valentine-inspired lip shades and restocking the original three hues. The kits sold out in less than 28 minutes, reiterating Jenner's hold over her portion of the makeup world.
"I love getting my nails done and nails in general," Jenner told WWD. "I wanted to do something innovative and accessible to my young fans."
She did just that, with the Sinful Shine King Kylie Collection. Jenner crafted a line of 20 jewel-toned polishes using SinfulColors gel-like formula. At $2.99 a piece, the polishes are ideal for mass market distribution. Plus, Jenner said the colors would be "great for all skin colors," furthering the accessibility of Kylie Klaws.
No dates have been officially announced regarding the release of Kylie's nail venture. But we do know there will be three limited-edition collections and the first will feature the 20 jewel tones inspired by King Kylie's royalty.
Look out for more information about the Sinful Shine King Kylie Collection on the Kylie Cosmetics site (formerly the Kylie LipKit site).
