About
editThis WikiProject documents the activities of an international working group on research expeditions. The participants of this WikiProject aim to develop a detailed schema to describe research expeditions in Wikidata. This schema is then intended feed into an effort to create an agreed TDWG data standard for modelling research expeditions as well as the development of best practice documentation. As part of this effort we hope to create a manual and/or hand out guiding editors on how to add or edit research expeditions in Wikidata. We welcome input on this topic from any interested parties so please leave your comments or questions on the discussion page or get in contact with one of the members.
It is intended that the WikiProject pages will be improved and added to during the project.

English Wikipedia article infobox template (draws data from Wikidata)
editUser:Avocadobabygirl produced this amazing Wikipedia infobox template. To see it in action see this Wikipedia article. This template pulls from the research expedition Wikidata item. It will only display the data from that research expedition Wikidata item if that data is appropriately referenced.
