Help:Property constraints portal/Integer
This is the documentation page for a particular constraint type. See Help:Property constraints portal for a general overview of property constraints. |
integer constraint (Q52848401) specifies that the value of the property should have integer type, i.e. a quantity without decimal places. This constraint type should only be used on properties with quantity datatype.
Examples:
If no constraint scope (P4680) is specified, this constraint is checked everywhere.
Possible actions
editViolations of this constraint often result from decimal separator confusion. Users often use “.” (decimal point) as a thousand separator, although it is interpreted as the decimal separator (Q427968). To fix the violation, check which value was actually meant and update the claim accordingly.
Parameters
editThis constraint does not have any qualifier parameters.
