Linking to Pokémon pages
When linking to species such as Pikachu, we ask users to use {{p|Pikachu}} and not [[Pikachu]]. This directly links to the page instead of using a redirect. Kai * the Arc Toraph 16:11, 28 June 2020 (UTC)
Masters
Hey GroundNecton, thanks for your recent input into the Masters pages! I don't know whether you've already been getting this information from a text dump, but there is a text dump of all the quotes and other language information on abcboy's userpage [1] if you need it. Just that I've noticed that some languages were missing on your edits so I wasn't too sure if you were using a text dump or not. --Wowy(talk) 06:10, 19 September 2020 (UTC)
The Preview Button
Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Thanks! --ㄱ쉰 G50 06:47, 4 November 2020 (UTC)
- I am here to inform the same. You once again ignored the preview button. This means you could flood the recent changes, which is totally undesirable. --C.Ezra.M (T/C) 14:53, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
- Oh... I apologize for skipping the preview button recently. I will make sure I don't skip that before saving my edits. --GroundNecton (talk) 15:01, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
New pages
Always categorize pages when you create them. I'm telling you because of Chili/Quotes, which you created without a category. Thanks. --C.Ezra.M (T/C) 15:25, 24 April 2022 (UTC)
Sync moves
The sync moves page is lagging behind in terms of introduced sync moves. May I request help in adding in the missing moves? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 08:42, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
- It's happening again, and I'd appreciate your assistance once more. Thank you. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 09:28, 2 November 2022 (UTC)
Champion Stadium split
Hey! Just wondering if you'd seen the discussion on Talk:Champion Stadium. I haven't seen you give any input on the split, and I figured you might have some thoughts on the matter given that you're the one who updates that page the most. My drafts make a significant number of changes, and I want to make sure you're okay with them before I move a massive amount of information out of the Champion Stadium page. Just checked them out and love them! (Especially looking forward to the regional challenges) Thank you so much for your contribution! GroundNecton (talk) 14:17, 10 June 2024 (UTC)
Style for Masters EX's Moves
I'm so sorry; this piece of constructive criticism is going to look like a nitpick.
Did you know that the new standard procedure for adding new moves of Pokémon Masters EX is to spell out their numbers (Example: instead of inputting "3 stat ranks," you type "three stat ranks")? -Always Wanting the Best for You, Solemn Mac (talk) 15:56, 9 November 2024 (UTC)
- To clarify, move descriptions should be formatted the same way they're displayed in-game. Move descriptions generally spell out numbers for stat ranks, move gauge slots, etc. as opposed to using digits. Super appreciate you keeping List of moves in Pokémon Masters EX up to date! Storm Aurora (talk) 23:17, 10 November 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'm sorry for not specifying myself sooner! Move descriptions from Pokémon Masters EX should match their style that's seen in the same game. So, as a corollary, the only in-description numbers that will stay numbers will be percentages (like 90% or 600%). Emphasis on "in-description," as in the numbers outside of the move descriptions (e.g., in columns that only specify base/max power or MP amounts) should stay numbers (as you've done well) to minimize column space. All the same, GroundNecron, your contributions are indeed much appreciated! Thank you! -The Very Best Regards, Solemn Mac (talk) 23:44, 10 November 2024 (UTC)
