Thank you, and have a good time editing here! --Pokemaster97 22:03, 11 February 2014 (UTC) |
A couple of things
Continual removal of valid content is considered vandalism, which is a serious offense on Bulbapedia. Additionally, edit warring is also frowned upon, which you were engaged in as well. Due to this, you have been blocked for 3 days. When you return, please edit productively in the future. Thanks. --Pokemaster97 22:03, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
Signature policy
As per the Signature Policy, your signature must link to your userpage, even if you don't have a userpage yet. Please change your signature so at least you userpage is linked. Linking to your talk page is recommended as well. Also, be sure to sign when you make your comment. Signing later gives the wrong timestamp. Berrenta (talk) 18:39, 11 May 2014 (UTC)
- Your signature is still in violation. Please take the necessary steps to correct it before commenting on talk pages again. Thank you. --Pokemaster97 00:38, 17 May 2014 (UTC)
- You Signature is still in violation of the Signature policy, as the users above have stated, you must link to your user page and it is recommended to link to your talk page also. Thank you.--Ditto51/Tom (My Talk Page) 17:29, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
It seems you aren't very active here, but still, we would greatly appreciate if you edited your signature to comply with our policies. The policy has since been updated a bit since the above messages: all you have to do is include a link to either your user page or your talk page. Thanks. =) Tiddlywinks (talk) 00:48, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
- Again: please update your signature so that it includes a link to either your user page or your talk page. Tiddlywinks (talk) 01:55, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
Honestly, I have no idea how to do so. I made my signature a while back and don't know how to change it. Crum Mum 01:57, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
- It's in your Preferences. Tiddlywinks (talk) 01:59, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
- All set! Crum Mum 02:01, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
- Wait, nope.
- There we go! Crummymummy (talk) 02:03, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks! Tiddlywinks (talk) 02:04, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
Chespin and Edits
When your edit is removed, do not add it back - even if it's been a while. If you have a problem with your edit being removed, bring it up on the article's talkpage. In the case of Chespin your edit is unneeded because, if you check the reference on the page, we have confirmation from the creators that it is a hedgehog, not a porcupine. Thanks. Crystal Talian 02:53, 17 August 2014 (UTC)
Type changes
Do not change types on any page for a character's Pokémon to the new typing, unless it has appeared in the anime after those type changes take place. The ones I reverted have not appeared since then and thus should not be changed. --It's Funktastic~!話してください 15:43, 21 August 2014 (UTC)
Linking moves
Just so you know, whenever you're linking to a move article, it's important to use the {{m}} to avoid leaving a redirect. For example, {{m|Fly}} is the correct usage, not simply [[Fly]]. Just a heads-up on that. Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 01:31, 23 October 2018 (UTC)
Origins
Please don't use definitive wording for origins sections (ie. X is based off Y), unless you have an official source backing up your statement. Otherwise, use terms like "may be", regardless of how obvious the origin is. Thank you.--ForceFire 04:49, 8 December 2019 (UTC)
Ignoring warning notes
Please don't just blatantly ignore a hidden warning message. It is still considered a spoiler, even after some time has passed. If you want it removed, you can ask on the talk page and wait for approval, like the message asked for. I've decided to be a tad lenient and went with a one week block rather than the stated one month, and allowed you to edit your talk page. But if you remove it again after you've come back, it will be a month.--ForceFire 06:08, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
Genders
Please refer to the gender policy on the Speculation policy. In Heracross's case, the policy is being reviewed by the staff for cases like this. Thank you.--ForceFire 04:45, 21 August 2020 (UTC)
- Again, please refer to the speculation policy. Pachirisu's gender difference falls under minor, meaning the difference is too small to make a conclusive decision as animators may be inconsistent with the size of the stripes (i.e. making it "too long" in one scene and then "too short" the next).--ForceFire 16:01, 9 November 2020 (UTC)
Voice Actors
In order to give a voice actor to a role, confirmation from a reliable source is needed. Either from the actor themselves or the voice director.--BigDocFan (talk) 21:29, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
Chloe's Eevee
Regarding your edits to Eevee regarding Chloe's Eevee, only Pokémon that have their own pages get that on a page, Chloe's Eevee has yet to get one so doesn't get it. Admin have been informed in order to avoid a potential edit war.--BigDocFan (talk) 22:13, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
Gotcha - thanks for clearing that up. Crummymummy (talk) 00:42, 16 December 2020 (UTC)
The Preview Button
Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Thanks! --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 18:50, 22 March 2021 (UTC)
Reverting undone edits
Please don't just re-add edits that have been removed, especially by a staff member, as there may be a very valid reason for its removal. I've already explained why I removed it in the edit summary and in my talk page. If you disagree with a reversion, go to the talk page of the user that reverted you, which you did, and wait for their response. Don't just simply add it back. Thank you.--ForceFire 05:48, 23 March 2021 (UTC)
Smallest pokemon trivia
I believe I've already said it before, the smallest Pokemon tidbit is already in their biology section, it does not need to be repeated in the trivia section. Thank you.--ForceFire 07:05, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
Legends: Arceus starters
Don't add the locations of the starters in Legend Arceus, the game hasn't been released yet.--ForceFire 05:09, 19 November 2021 (UTC)
Legends articles
Please do not add leaked information regarding the new games, even if you are hiding them. Thank you.--ForceFire 08:03, 25 January 2022 (UTC)
Preview Button
Once again reminding you to use the preview button. Keep in mind that multiple edits in a short period of time can put stress on the servers. Thank you! Landfish7 03:17, 7 May 2022 (UTC)
Pre-release names
Don't add the names until we know for sure those are their names and not placeholders. We will usually know once the games are out and once official material starts calling them by those names. Be patient.--ForceFire 19:38, 11 September 2022 (UTC)
Titans
There does not need to be articles for the individual titans, that information can go to their relevant pages, that being the Titan Pokemom page and their respective location pages.--ForceFire 05:42, 8 January 2023 (UTC)
Italicized text
Please be aware that Pokémon game names are not written in italicized text. Also, I've been changing your edits on signature pages to be more consistent with other signature move pages. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 18:17, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
Unreleased materials policy
Please review the unreleased materials policy. Any content found in violation of this policy will be removed. Thank you. Landfish7 21:02, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
