Whips in Generation I
The site is from TCRF admin GlitterBerri. For the purposes of Bulbapedia, it is a reliable source, especially since it provides an accurate English translation of an interview not available online from official channels. And Bulbapedia is not Wikipedia. SatoMew 00:55, 16 February 2015 (UTC)
- Similar statements/edits were taken down by Force Fire, Crystal Taitan or someone else of their rank(s)because they were from unofficial sources/fansites. I only follow site precedent. Also, when you change Trainer and/or move names, discuss it with an admin first, because they have warned you and others multiple times of the ramifications to site integrity that those sort of changes make. I suggest you abide by their wishes w/o pushing your personal agenda and/or beliefs on how this site is run. --BlisseyandtheAquaJets (talk) 01:23, 16 February 2015 (UTC)
- You are not an admin, therefore it's not up to you to decide if the source is acceptable or not (and in this case, it is). Following "site precedent" to the letter is a bad idea, particularly when positive contributions are nullified by poor judgement.
Your (and others') claims that fixing what are clearly wrong, oftentimes machine-like, noncontextual translations has serious consequences to "site integrity" are ludicrous. There are far more grave practices on the wiki that are clear violations of its policy and actually impact its integrity, yet no one seems to care. This is an English wiki first and foremost; its users come here to get accurate and preferably well-sourced information on all things Pokémon that deserve to be here. They will not be affected by some Japanese text changing, unless they're specifically interested in it, in which case they will benefit from having proper translations anyway. And you're not supposed to ask permission from admins at the slightest thing that you do, which is definitely the case here.
I took offense at your accusation of stealing. I don't steal content and always try to find good sources for stuff that may need them, like in I's case. I am not pushing an agenda, I'm contributing to make the wiki a better source for Pokémon fans. Furthermore, it's true that sometimes I change my mind or appear undecided, and I have no trouble admitting it, but all I can do is recognize my mistakes and try to do better next time. I shan't give up on contributing just because someone disagrees with me, and you're supposed to counter my incorrect or questionable information with an actual argument, not by appealing to authority and/or tradition. Admin who's who
I noticed that in your reversion to Force Palm, you mentioned that an admin told the user not to do it, and I'm noticing that in your recent edit summaries you're using some of the wording I used in my edit summaries. In case you've mistaken me for an admin, let me clarify for you that I'm not. Tiddlywinks (talk) 01:00, 16 February 2015 (UTC)
- I know you aren't, but a real admin said the same sort of thing. And I just like your style:your conviction is palpable...--BlisseyandtheAquaJets (talk) 01:23, 16 February 2015 (UTC)
Japanese name for XY063
I know what I read and saw. Check this. http://serebii.net/anime/epiguide/xy/ I have proof. --Jay-Man 04:07, 18 April 2015 (UTC) JasonL (Talk)
- Don't steal from Serebii, and fansites and fansubs/fandubs are not proof of anything. And you haven't proven/shown that you know Japanese or live in Japan, so no. I think you need to read all Bulbapedia policies, the Manual of Style, and actually listen to what people tell you. No VA guessing/creditsing, no plaigarism, and listen to and obey the staff when they tell you do or not do something.--BlisseyandtheAquaJets (talk) 04:16, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
I didn't steal nothing and besides I was trying to make a point. How would you know which Japanese episode is right and which is not? I just want to make sure if the Japan episode had the right title. And English Sub writing in Japan don't lie or make mistakes. I never knew Japan words can be something out of the ordinary. And besides again, I know how to read the policies I have been on Bulbapedia longer. If you want to leave the name how it is, that's fine. I was just trying to help.--Jay-Man 04:37, 18 April 2015 (UTC) UTC) JasonL (Talk)
- First of all, don't talk smack by flouting how long you've been on here. Second, You didn't use Serebii as a source THIS time, but you have in multiple past offenses. Third, I don't count subs unless they are made by TV Tokyo or DuArt. Since neither of those have produced YouTube subs, I can only assume that it is a FAN sub, and therefore NOT official. It doesn't matter if they are as truthful as Veritas or as much of a liar as Loki:They are FAN material, which Bullbapedia only accepts in terms of shipping(Which I sincerely hope we discontinue, as it is the most ridiculous form of fanfiction on the web...)Fourth, You know how to read them but you seem to refuse to adhere to them, especially when obeying admins is concerned. I am not one, but I can tell you this:You are skating on thin ice with this site's staff, as you have been insubordinate, have not followed the manual of style, break rules then try to justify said acts as "B-B-B-B-But I just wanna do or help this thing regardless of an admin stopping and/or warning mee". If you want to help here, behave according to the rules and guidelines and try harder when it comes to sources. You and Pikachu65 are the closest users to a permaban due to aggregate offenses I've ever seen. I suggest you take a break from editing to learn about, review, and practice the basics of sourcing and editing according to our policies. It'll help you in the long run.--BlisseyandtheAquaJets (talk) 05:07, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
- While I appreciate you explaining why Fansubs aren't reliable, but do keep it to the Code of Conduct. Do not discourage other users just because of their prior offenses. You can tell the to read the policies again, but don't be so blunt about it. And finally, don't call out other users and say that they are "closer to a permaban", it is rude and uncalled for. So again, if you are going to reprimand a user, be civil about it. Abide by the Code of Conduct and don't act like yo are above them. Thank you.--ForceFire 05:23, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
- I'm not above anybody, I just thought a stern warning might send a good messsage to a potentially awesome editor. And I didn't realize being firm was against the Code of Conduct. The permaban thing was my guesstimate of how many invisible points he's acquired via multiple offenses, not a taunt. I honestly care about JasonL's performance due to me having faith in his eagerness, and hoped a little tough love could set him on the right path and let him shine here. Jason, I'm sorry if I sounded out of line. You have a lot of great ideas, but you just need to fine-tune them according to Bulbapedia policy. Keep up the great work, but just make it polished and validated great work. Force Fire, I'm sorry to have wasted your time on my overstepping my bounds.--BlisseyandtheAquaJets (talk) 05:34, 18 April 2015 (UTC)

It's okay. I wasn't being too rough. I just wanted to match the title and to make sure it was right. It's almost similar to matching the English Dub title. But I understand how you feel. I will be more supportive for now on. I wasn't trying to start conflict. And thank you for understanding.--Jay-Man 12:37, 18 April 2015 (UTC) JasonL (Talk)
Sylveon page
Hello there, I am very new to this wikia, and the sylveon edit was my very first one. Not meaning to offend, but whoever you were talking about and their "sock" is definitely not me. I saw that the Sylveon origin is very vague, and tried my best to not be very biased. I added info about cats, dogs, and foxes, because everybody sees sylveon in a different way. I truly did not know the staff were still debating over the origins, and I was only trying to be helpful. But next time, please notify me about what needs to be debated and what not, and try not to jump to hasty conclusions too quickly. Thank you. :-)Leafeon6954 (talk) 02:02, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
- I am going to request an admin run a check on you before I apologize, since your edit was nearly word for word what a blocked user put in that space. --BlisseyandtheAquaJets (talk) 02:47, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
- It's possible that the source for both users was identical. Which means they might be copying material. I'd be more interested in that source. But even so, accusing other members of sockpuppetry (see Force Fire's section below) is a very serious and grave matter. You can't prove anything, so don't do it. CycloneGU (talk) 03:28, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
- When you edit on Kogoro's talk page, an email is sent to me too, because you were editing my message. Not only that, I can also see a little thing called an editor's summary, in which you wrote and I quote, " I'm convinced this is a sock. Read their speech with a grain of salt." Whether you didn't realize it or not, it is extremely rude to both of us, because you have no proof I even am a sock, and you don't tell anyone what to do or how to do it. In case you didn't know that I can see your little editor's note, I know perfectly well what a grain of salt means. It means with skeptism. And even if I didn't know it, I have access to something called the internet. When you say you are convinced, what made it convincing? Do you have more than just the proof about the cat thing? If you don't, then STOP making people get the wrong idea about me.Leafeon6954 (talk) 21:21, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
- The only other edit conflicts I can find on the Sylveon page are some edits by Fireball the Victini, who: one, isn't banned and so far has never been and two, only edited the page to remove references to it being bases on a dog. It isn't at all similar to Leafon's edit. --Abcboy (talk) 21:50, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
- BTW, if that other message was in reply to me, I didn't say anything about anyone being a sock. I'm assuming that was a reply to me because you posted that after I replied to you, as a reply to me. Let's be clear: I'm not accusing anyone of being a sock as I can't prove it either way. I follow the Wikipedia concept of assuming good faith; that applies to all such projects. CycloneGU (talk) 22:22, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
- Whoops, I had username confusion there. Sorry, that was Leafeon replying. The point stands, however. CycloneGU (talk) 22:23, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
- sorry Cyclone GU, I wasn't talking about you, I was talking about blisseyandtheaquajets. Sorry about that confusion. I should have addressed her/ him instead. The whole editor's summary thing is about blisseyandtheaquajets, not you Cyclone GU.Leafeon6954 (talk) 23:40, 10 May 2015 (UTC)

Attitude
I have been monitoring your edits for a while now and I am quite suspicious on your behavior. Especially your tendency to call out other users and harass them by saying that they may get blocked, and just recently, saying that someone may be a sock. I have done a check on that user and found no link. But I'm not talking about that user for now. If I may, your attitude towards other users is extremely similar to another permanently banned user, so let this be a final warning. If you go around harassing other users and quickly judge them and issue blocks, it will only raise my suspicion.--ForceFire 03:24, 10 May 2015 (UTC)
About Misty Corsola thread!
Hi. I wanted to thank you for pointing out grammar mistakes and articulation of my posts. English isn't my native language, but after reading article about Misty's Corsola I noticed some battles were left out. So I just wanted to add new content making things complete.
As for changing some of previously written content, it was because way some battles were described was confusing and didn't in my opinion properly described what happened. Like battle against Harrison Quilfish where it was mentioned how "instead of taking damage from Corsola mirror coat, Quilfish just swallows the water using it to power up its Pin Missile attack". But in that episode it was mentioned by commentator how "Quilfish seem to be shaken up by water gun, but is still in match". Indicating how Harrison Quilfish received damage from mirror coat.
So im not quite sure why are this things left out. Nothing else.--Pokemon fan 132 (talk) 06:31, 19 August 2015 (UTC)

Data mining
Just so you are aware, it's fine to use information players of the game have researched/found, especially if a large amount of players have encountered the same thing. I'll give you the Serebii, based on our fansite rule, but EuroGamer does not own copyright to public information. You can't really say you own an information if the information is conclusively verifiable. If you want to question the validity of a user's source, don't act all high and mighty, and scream copyright at their faces. Go to a staff member to verify whether the source is acceptable or not.--ForceFire 06:01, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
Edit undoing
I saw that you had undone my edit on Mallow's Bounsweet. Fine, I agree, maybe it wasn't Rapid Spin, but please, did you have to undo the whole edit? Why not just remove the part you thought was wrong instead of the whole thing? --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 13:34, 16 March 2017 (UTC)
- There wasn't any proof of Sweet Scent until today's episode established it as such retroactively. I was only following precedent on debatable move usage.--BlisseyandtheAquaJets (talk) 15:28, 16 March 2017 (UTC)
May (anime)
I appreciate your comments, though these are observations more than anything. Trivia is never there to prove a point, it may raise one or be the basis of discussion though it is fundamentally there to be fun. Thank you PardescanSlowbro (talk) 08:11, 11 March 2018 (UTC)
- Force Fire's Trivia Policy states that comparison trivia is banned, regardless of any "discussions" spawned. Please revert your edits to May(anime). I don't want to call an admin. BlisseyandtheAquaJets (talk) 08:15, 11 March 2018 (UTC)
Dealing with vandals
Hello there and thank you for reverting that vandal's edits. Persistence is a virtue. But, I do believe it's more efficiant to not try to talk them out of it in the edit summaries. Because telling them they are a vandal and stuff will only heat them up more and spark their fire. The best thing to do is to simply undo and block them and not get upset and retaliate since they are most likely after a reaction of sorts. --Raltseye prata med mej 02:01, 24 March 2018 (UTC)
- Sorry, I got concerned with this obsessive person hounding Pokémaster97, and, since stalkers trigger me due to having been stalked in the past, I wanted to divert any harassment away from staff, to reduce their potential stalker-induced stress. I was having flashbacks to mine, and I got carried away. I apologize for that.--BlisseyandtheAquaJets (talk) 02:07, 24 March 2018 (UTC)
- Nah, no need to apologize. Just wanted you to know that silently removing vandals is more effective then bringing them in the spotlight. --Raltseye prata med mej 02:19, 24 March 2018 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, this "user" last nite is someone who is just out to harass staff in general. While your initial attempts to assist are appreciated, if someone attempts to be a nuisance you would be best to let staff take over so it doesn't seem like you are edit warring with the vandal. Because of the fact that is was a clear vandal I personally am letting it pass, but just letting you know for future it's best to let staff take over if it gets to that point. At that point, find an active user of administrator level or above and just let them know about the vandal, though most of the time there might be someone already watching. Clarification
If you are unsure of whether you are in trouble, or unsure of what I meant in my comments, you can just come to me. Tiddlywinks can't explain what I meant by "going around with some kind of authority", because he's not that one that said it. What I meant by "holding some kind of authority" was just your general tone when you said "staff that are junior to you" and "former staff that should know better", it was as if you were putting them lower on the pedestal than they actually are. Are you in trouble? Not really, no. You don't need to be ashamed of reminding users of policies or rules, it's really just about how you word things that you need to be careful of.--ForceFire 04:27, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
Unnecessary rants
Could you please refrain from posting long rants, especially about a Pokémon's gender? Because to be quite honest, I did not read your comment here because it is just too long. Could you stop going on and on about something that is not relevant to the discussion and get to the point? No one wants to read a wall of text. So next time, if you have something to say, leave out the unnecessary fluff and make the comment short and to the point.--ForceFire 03:14, 19 May 2018 (UTC)
- I'd ask you you not to TL:DR it or anythig else I say, as it stays on subject, and all of it is relevant to the gendering of Pokémon, including the Pokémon in question, and it pretty much explains why the usual reason for why genders in Pokémon(which is biological sex in Japanese) is weak, paranoid and counterproductively contrarian for the sake of such....so it's not "fluff". I would ask, but it's like asking a concrete wall to move.
- In addition, you're asking someone to stop "ranting" who has a variant on the autism spectrum that makes that very difficult, in voice or text. I'm not using it as an excuse, just giving you a piece of me you didn't know.
- TL:DR you should read my response in its entirety, it's futile argue with you, and I have a medical reason that I rant a lot. --BlisseyandtheAquaJets (talk) 03:48, 19 May 2018 (UTC)
- The discussion was about the difference between XY105's gender specific outfits and SM061's apparent gender specific outfit. Ad revenue, Google search, western impression about the word sex, and who hates the site is not relevant to the subject. IT's clear that you have a dislike for the rule, and that's fine, but don't just go on a mindless tirade against the site.--ForceFire 03:55, 19 May 2018 (UTC)
- It all ties together. And there is no difference in the setup apart from your personal feelings and biases. I'll give that all of that but the Western sex/gender thing was a bit far, though. Do you have a way to prove that the coding systems are different cases other than yours and other mods' words, though? - unsigned comment from BlisseyandtheAquaJets (talk • contribs)
- What... are you talking about? I'm simply asking you to shorten your comments and leave out unnecessary stuff like ad revenue. Not sure how you could interpret that as power abuse.--ForceFire 04:41, 19 May 2018 (UTC)
- I've seen things that no other wiki's staff do, done here regularly. Wasn't referring to this incident specifically while talking to EB. But this kind of reasoning and bad faith assumption is what I refer to as paranoia in general. --BlisseyandtheAquaJets (talk) 04:54, 19 May 2018 (UTC)

Blocked
Effective immediately, your account is permanently blocked for incredibly abusive behavior in relation to your need to have your opinions be correct. You've made it extremely clear to me that you're here simply to push and force your opinions onto articles, rather than to contribute in accordance with Bulbapedia policy. You insist on trying to start arguments with extremely aggressive rants, then become extremely defensive & abusive when someone disagrees with you or provides clear evidence that your opinion is misguided.
If you can't contribute within Bulbapedia policy, and with the staff members that are here to enforce such policy, Bulbapedia is not the place for you. - Kogoro - Talk to me - 16:33, 20 May 2018 (UTC)
