Team Break (Japanese: ブレイク団 Break-dan, literally Break Gang) is the villainous team on Pasio. Their initial goal is to sabotage the Pokémon Masters League. After that plan fails, they have no real goals or firm beliefs, simply causing trouble for others on the island. During the Villain Arc, Paulo takes over the remainder of the team and gives them a new goal: to destroy all evil in the world by destroying all the villainous teams on Pasio. However, they soon lose their loyalty to him and instead side with Team Rocket for the rest of the arc.
Members of Team Break are known as Masked Men and Masked Women.
In the games
Pokémon Masters EX
Team Break appears in Pokémon Masters EX. Their goal is to steal strong Pokémon from other Trainers and sabotage the Pokémon Masters League. Its members wear masks that resemble the team's logo turned sideways. In Chapter 9, one of these masks is able to control the body of whoever wears it without affecting their mind; however, there is no evidence of this happening in other masks. Members of Team Break joined the team willingly after being rejected by Lear in some way, such as being denied the opportunity to become PML Leaders.

In Chapter 24, Team Break interrupts the PML battle between the player's team and Elesa's team, intending to stop the PML by stealing everyone's Pokémon. Although they initially have the upper hand, Paulo comes with reinforcements and Team Break is ultimately defeated.
