Release information

This card was included in the Chilling Reign expansion with artwork by Kouki Saitou, first released in the Japanese Silver Lance expansion. In Japan, a S-P Promotional print with different artwork by otumami was one of seven cards available in Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack 6, which was distributed at Pokémon Card Gym venues from July 3, 2021. This print features the Pokémon Card Gym logo. In Japan, the Chilling Reign print was reprinted in the Japanese Start Deck 100 and the VSTAR Premium Trainer Box. The S-P Promotional print was eventually made available outside Asia in the special Crown Zenith expansion.

Trivia

Based on the release schedules of previous Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Packs, it is likely the Japanese S-P Promotional print would have been available alongside the dual Silver Lance and Jet-Black Spirit expansion on April 23, 2021. However, due to the release proximity of the previous Promo Card Pack, which was also delayed due to COVID-19 restrictions, and the state of emergency that was subsequently imposed in some Japanese prefectures from April 29, this print did not become available until July. This delay led to the first official release of this print appearing as a Traditional Chinese-language S-P Promotional card in May 2021.

Headbutt is a move in the Pokémon games that Snorunt can learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Shield. The Iceberg Ruins are featured in the Chilling Reign print's illustration.
